    • Mission: Use Your Talent. Bring Hope. Change Your World. The Humble Project is a platform for people to share their talents to bless those in need and in return to be blessed. 
    • Giving Opportunities:
      • Thanksgiving Food Deliveries to LA River Bike Path - 9:30AM
      • Meals made by 7th Street team & with 7th St food donations
      • Asking for 75-100 meals
      • Needs 15 volunteers from 7th

      • To donate food items and sign up for prepping & packing food boxes, visit the Connect Center in the 7th Street cafe after any of the Sunday services
      • To help distribute the food to the LA River bike path on Thanksgiving morning, email info@thehumbleprojectlongbeach.org


  • Union Rescue Mission Holiday Help http://urm.org/
    • Mission: We embrace people with the compassion of Christ — giving hope and healing for a changed life — helping them find their way home. 
    • Giving Opportunities:
      • Thanksgiving Outreach: 11/12 from 10am - 2pm
      • Thanksgiving Celebration: 11/19: from 9:30am - 2:30pm
      • Christmas Store Event: 12/15 from 11am - 2pm
      • Additional help needed serving in URM’s kitchen during week days. Meal times are: Breakfast: 5:30am - 9:00am, Lunch: 10:30am - 3:00pm, Dinner: 4:30pm - 8:00pm
      • Kid’s Playtime & Supervision - Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9am - 11am

  • Beacon for Him - beaconforhim.org
    • Mission: We are a Long Beach, CA, homeless outreach ministry with a mission to share God's love and hope with homeless and at-risk men, women, and children in our community by building personal relationships with them, and loving them where they are at.
    • Giving Opportunities:
      • Thanksgiving meal service
        • BFH site: 439 West Anaheim Street, Long Beach, CA 90813
        • Prep day before, Turkeys need to be cooked and other food donations are needed

  • Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) http://dcfs.co.la.ca.us/
    • Mission: The goal of DCFS is to create an organizational model that Improves Child Safety, Decreases Timelines to Permanence, Reduces Reliance on Out-of-Home Care, Creates Self-Sufficiency and Increases Child and Family Well-Being.

      • DCFS White Ribbon Campaign
      • “Adopt” 100foster kids for the holidays and purchase gifts for them

    • Mission: Changing the world, one child at a time
    • Giving Opportunities:
      • YesWeServe’s Angel Tree
        • November: "Adopt" 30-40 kids from orphanages YWS supports and purchase gifts for them
      • Missionary for a Day
        • Our one-day trips to Mexicali, Mexico take place on the first Saturday of every month.
      • S.T.A.R.T.S. tutoring and arts program for inner-city youth

  • His Little Feet - hislitfeet.org
    • Mission: Our mission is to share Gods love, uplifting souls with a new pair of soles to underprivileged children and homeless or at risk adults.
    • Giving Opportunity:
      • Shoe Donations
      • Monthly cleaning parties to get gently used shoes looking new, and with new laces and notes inserted in them
      • January shoe drive for winter shoes

  • 7th Street Food Bank 7thstreetchurch.com/serve/food-bank/
    • Mission: To show the love and compassion of Jesus by providing month end food relief to those in need, done in a relational way to maintain the dignity of those seeking help.
    • Giving Opportunity:
      • Held on the 7th Street Church parking lot on the fourth Saturday of every month
      • November/December are held the 3rd Saturday (11/19, 12/17)
      • Imagine what it would look like if the number of those coming to serve outnumbered those being served!We have two shifts available:8:00am – 10:30am (Shift 1) and 10:00am – 12:30pm (Shift 2)

  • Urban FIN (Families in Need) http://www.7thstreetchurch.com/serve/urbanfin/
    • Mission: Offering hope and lifting the spirits of students in need by providing material resources for ongoing success.
    • Giving Opportunity:
      • We are accepting Backpacks, Shoes and School Uniforms for youth ages Elementary through Middle School.
      • You can also donate directly to UrbanFIN by dropping a 7th Street Church giving envelope with the words “UrbanFIN” into our weekly offering.

    • THE EISENBERGS: Please continue to support the missionary work of The Eisenbergs as they work abroad to bring the Gospel to people in Southeast Asia. You can give online through our church website at 7thstreetchurch.com/giving or by dropping a 7th Street Church giving envelope with the words “Missions: Eisenbergs” into our weekly offering.
